Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Every other weekend requirement following unit protocols

• On-call availability as needed

• Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles

• Work with 31-bed unit following national standard nurse-to-patient ratios

• 3 years of Med-Surg experience with critical thinking skills required

• Active Alaska RN license required

• Required certifications:
Heart Saver AED and BLS (must be AHA)

• Experience with EPIC charting required

• Equipment utilized includes Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations

• Scrubs provided by facility

• Complete 3-day Meditech and OBIX training plus unit-specific orientation

• Must complete medication testing within first two weeks on site

• No floating to other units required
