Travel RN - Leadership - Supervisor

American Traveler seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee Med/Surg and ICU departments on night shifts, requiring an AK RN license and strong acute care background.

Job Details

• Work in a 49-bed hospital overseeing both Med/Surg and ICU units,

• Primarily responsible for supervising all hospital departments and acting as resource for department personnel,

• Healthstream charting system is used in the unit,

• 12-hour night shifts with variable schedule from 7PM-7AM,

• On-call coverage may be required as needed,

• Scrubs are the required dress code,

Job Requirements

• Active AK RN license required,

• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience,

• Associate's degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor's preferred,

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association),

• Strong leadership and hospital supervisory skills,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include direct supervision of all hospital departments during assigned shifts,

• Acts as primary resource for staff, arranges adequate staffing, and responds to patient rapid response and complaints,

• Represents hospital administration during their absence,

• Ensures safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and inventory control measures are maintained,

• Participates in training, orientation, and collaborative evaluation processes for staff performance,
