Position SummaryThe primary function of this position is to provide application support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training for your assigned CPH applications, and backup support for other CPH supported applications. This includes integration and information exchange support, as well as project management responsibilities. In this role, you will participate in the selection, development, implementation, testing, and documentation of software applications to effectively support the clinical and business information system needs.
As a member of the IS team, you will participate in improving the overall IS service to CPH and its business affiliates.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, including information systems, business, or a health‑related field. (Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year‑for‑year basis)
- 4 years of Information Services experience in a Healthcare Environment
- 4 years of experience with EMR, PACS, ERP or other healthcare applications.
- Agreement to obtain one of the preferred certifications listed below (or others as approved by management) within 24 months of hire or available course offering if not currently in possession:
- Certified Professional in Health Information Management Systems (CPHIMS)
- Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CPHIT)
- Certified Associate in Project Management (PAPC, CIIP, or similar, or system specific, i.e. IBM CAT completion)
- SQL, Crystal, or other Data Analytics/Mining Certification
- PMP Certification
- Rhapsody Certification
