Position Description:
This role, at the Job Captain level, requires prior experience in construction document preparation. The Job Captain ensures the production of top-tier project deliverables in construction documents across all project phases, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents, and Construction Administration. Join this dynamic team and contribute through the following key responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Organize public bid projects from schematic design through bidding phases.
• Conduct thorough Code research to ensure project compliance with Division of State Architect (DSA) or other relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with consultant engineers for seamless document integration.
• Interact with clients to incorporate their needs into project documents.
• Support all tasks essential for successful project completion.
• Craft precise construction documents with attention to detail.
• Coordinate document preparation with consultants, contractors, and team members.
• Review shop drawings, project submittals, and other materials for compliance.
• Maintain documentation of code review and compliance processes.
• Ensure smooth communication with management, clients, consultants, and contractors to facilitate daily operations.

Skills & Requirements:

• Job Captain: 3-5 years of post-professional experience
• Senior Level Job Captains or Project Architects: 5-10 years of post-professional experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in educational projects and familiarity with Division of the State Architect (DSA) regulations preferred
• Proficiency in Revit Architecture is essential
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch Up, or other 3D Modeling and Rendering programs is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Proficient in interpreting architectural drawings
• Extensive construction document experience is highly valued
