• Provide bedside care to patients including personal hygiene maintenance.
• Record the patients’ vital signs (including blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate).
• Collect patient information and health data.
• Relay information between patients, registered nurses, and physicians.
• Administer oral medications and injections as prescribed.
• Test a patient’s blood sugar levels.
• Urinary catheter insertion and care.
• Wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene.
• Monitor for changes in patients’ condition.
• Proper charting, documentation, and maintenance of patient medical records.
• Ask questions when in doubt for clarification by the Registered Nurse.
• Act as a role model for ancillary personnel.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the patient’s clinical records.

• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
• Current LPN or RN license in the state.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills.
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
