Contract Role Business Support Rep in Soddy Daisy, TN
Duration: 11 months contract with possible extension
Pay Range: $20.54 - 30.82/hour on W2
Job Description:- Fully performs both standard and non-standard transactions in support of the Management Support Services job family. Selects, applies, and explains procedures and practices to identify and resolve discrepancies, research information sources, and document and coordinate results.
- Provides multi-functional support that may include business planning, budget and accounting support, facilities and equipment coordination, payroll operations, records management, procurement and materials management, event planning, legal and contractual services, workers’ compensation claims, and general office management.
- Typical duties include independently performing a variety of day-to-day transactions within assigned functional area(s), such as MScplcls, classification, storage, retention, and disposal of organizational records. Serves as the organizational representative and point of contact for office and personal communication equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines, pagers, cellular phones, and telecommunications equipment).
- Ensures and coordinates the entry of required data and schedules into various information and business reporting systems. Formats and retrieves both standard and non-standard reports from multiple business systems. Identifies and resolves discrepancies in data used for −business decision-making.
- Performs procurement and materials management functions as required, including compliance with contractual agreements and erstthe requisitioning and receiving Koe of goods and in; services. Serves as a coordination point for activities supporting the full range of work within assigned functional areas.
- Provides orientation and training in assigned functional areas and may coordinate assigned work activities for the first two levels of work. Demonstrates competence at the administrative representative level, with tér experience in PC software applications and general experience with organizational business systems, standards, and processes.
- Qualifications: Requires a degree, certification, or equivalent experience.
