Job Details:

• Work 1.0 FTE 4x10 day shift schedule

• On-call and call back responsibilities as needed

• Weekend work as needed

• Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles required

• Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned patients

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses

• Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols

• Identify and meet patient and family learning and discharge needs

• Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel

• Must be able to scrub in operating room procedures

• Minimum 2 years current experience in large OR required

• Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required

• New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required

• BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

• ACLS and PALS preferred

• Epic experience preferred but not required - training provided on-site

• Ortho, EENT, and/or vascular experience a plus

• Must be team player, flexible, and comfortable in fast-paced environment
