Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure the facility operates safely and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on individual with strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of maintenance issues.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Green Bay, WI
Pay Range: $60000 - $62500 + based on experience
Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am-2pm and Friday 5am-11am OR
Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform routine inspections of building systems and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and facility systems to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly
- Carry out general facility repairs including lighting, doors, minor carpentry, and painting
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete work orders efficiently
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 4+ years of general maintenance experience preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (120 & 240 volts), and plumbing systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
