(SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense contractor specializing in range operations and maintenance, weapons testing, facilities management, aerial, ground and seaborne target operations, technical logistics, systems integration, electronics and communications maintenance services, and a growing cybersecurity business. SA-TECH supports munitions delivery training for Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps air and ground crews through USAF Air Combat Command’s Primary Training Ranges (PTRs).
We deliver O&M services to PTR bombing and gunnery (B&G) ranges and electronic warfare (EW) ranges, supporting remote threat emitters, mission data processing, range communications, weapons impact and electronic combat scoring.
- Perform systems maintenance and operations of range systems and facilities.
- Replace components and wire circuits.
- Repair simple electronic equipment.
- Conduct test readings using digital millimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Follow detailed instructions to replace components, wire circuits, repair equipment, and take test readings with common instruments.
- Perform work under close supervision, receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technicians and ensuring work is checked frequently for accuracy.
- Work is performed outdoors and indoors, requiring movement in elevated areas, confined spaces, and high-voltage and radio-frequency circuits.
- Must be able to climb ladders, work in elevated areas, and work on high-voltage and RF circuits.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and possess physical dexterity and flexibility to sit, stand, kneel, and climb.
- Overtime may be required to support operations.
- Associates degree in electronics, certificate of completion from an accredited technical school, or equivalent military technical training.
- Minimum 2‑3 years of experience working with assigned electronic combat range systems highly desired.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Basic understanding of Windows-based PC operation and ability to document maintenance actions.
- Experience with range systems such as JTE Joint Threat Emitter, MST‑T1A / MUTES, MST‑T1(V) / Mini‑MUTES and various Visual/IR targets is extremely helpful.
- Experience with ground radar, satellite tracking/radio and antenna positioning systems, and high-power transmitters using TWTs or magnetrons is beneficial.
- All candidates must pass a consumer report and/or investigative screening including SSN, driver record and criminal background investigation.
- Current driver’s license required; candidate must be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy while operating work or government vehicles during working hours and employment.
- U.S. citizenship required with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance prior to hire date.
