Data Engineer AWS

Swedium Global is looking for a Data Engineer (AWS) for one of its customers

Requirements

One of our customers is seeking a consultant to help develop and implement advanced data pipelines and visualization solutions. This assignment is part of a major initiative to build a Digital Twin of the organization, supporting scalable insights and efficient business processes.

About the Assignment

You will be responsible for building data pipelines and report visualizations that enable users to interact with adaptable dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI). The solution should provide a user-friendly experience, allowing different users to access tailored views. The role includes setting up integrations with other systems, ensuring seamless data migration and ingestion, and following best practices with preferred platforms (likely AWS, Snowflake, and Microsoft Power BI).

Familiarity with process modeling tools such as ARIS is meriting.

The ideal candidate is proactive, able to engage with stakeholders, and delivers fast, incremental results in a large-scale organizational setting. The work arrangement is hybrid, typically 1–3 days onsite, with flexibility for up to 5 days when needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in designing and building data pipelines and report visualizations
• Strong skills in front-end and back-end development, including UI and database management with relationships
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Microsoft Power BI
• Ability to set up integrations with other systems and enable seamless data migration and ingestion
• Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., ARIS) or willingness to learn and utilize them
• Coding and database management according to IT department standards and best practices
• Master of Science or equivalent work experience
• English (full professional level) is mandatory;
  Swedish is meriting
