Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Platform team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and enhancing data products that drive decision‑making across the company. Your initial focus will be on data modeling and pipeline development, with opportunities to expand into more complex platform challenges. You will act as a key liaison between Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Platform & Data Engineering, contributing to dbt models, troubleshooting data pipelines, and ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and well‑integrated data solutions.

• Design and build data products for analytics, reporting, and business operations.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines (dbt, Airflow) with a focus on quality, usability, and uptime.
• Investigate and resolve issues in data workflows.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and engineers to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Implement software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for platform reliability.

• 2–5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, BI, data analysis, or data engineering.
• Understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data quality principles.
• Exposure to Python and interest in developing technical skills.
• Experience with data tooling (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift/Big Query).
• Problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations.

• Interest in observability, testing frameworks, or data systems reliability.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and tools like Terraform or Docker.
