Overview

As a Part-Time Cashier you will assist our customers during the checkout process and deliver on our high brand and execution standards with your team. Our mission at Northern Tool + Equipment is to serve tradespeople who keep our country running and weekend warriors who want to work like them, providing the right tools and a hassle-free in-store experience so customers can get in, get out, and get back to the job at hand.

• Greet all customers as they enter the store and ensure they enjoy the best shopping experience possible.
• Complete all transactions quickly and accurately.
• Offer Protection Plans on eligible products and offer our credit card on all customer transactions. (Incentive pay for selling protection plans and credit cards.)
• Be a team player by helping put away product, execute price changes, or other tasks that help the team better serve customers.

• Prior retail sales, cashier or customer service experience admired, but not required.
• Flexible availability and willingness to work some weekends and holidays as needed.
• A love of tools & equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Service-focused mindset.

• Competitive Pay:
  Earn $12.00 - $17.37 hourly, with exact compensation based on skills, experience, and location.
