The Progressive Care Unit bridges the gap between the Intensive Care Unit and the medical‑surgical units, providing high intensity nursing care. - Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
- Function within the framework of policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
- Maintain standards of practice, coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
- Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
- For PRN positions: one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
