Overview

Join us as a Registered Nurse specializing in endoscopy. This full‑time day role offers sign‑on bonus, a dynamic schedule, and opportunities for professional growth in a high‑volume, state‑of‑the‑art surgical environment.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., with on‑call duties.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients across the life cycle, using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse functions within institutional policies, demonstrates professional growth, and coordinates patient care activities to deliver quality nursing care.

Essential Functions
  • Perform patient assessments with data collection on physical, psychosocial, and health history.
  • Evaluate developmental age during assessments, treatments, and education.
  • Organize data to formulate a plan of care, identify needs, and make decisions to achieve patient outcomes.
  • Carry out plan of care to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide care appropriate to disease severity, condition, impairment or disability.
  • Oversee activities of ancillary and support team members.
  • Identify teaching opportunities and supply resources for patient educational goals.
  • Communicate concerns to Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or physician as appropriate.
  • Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum Experience Required
  • New graduates of a nursing program eligible
Minimum

Licensure/Certification Required By Law
  • Current registered nursing license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license
  • BLS certification required
Additional Qualifications
  • PRN positions:
    One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
  • Experience in hospital setting preferred
