OverviewPiedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for an Electrophysiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Snellville, Georgia. This is a full‑time position with variable shifts including days, holidays, night call coverage, and weekends. This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation’s leading cardiology programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly‑trained physicians.
PHI provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.

Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of electrophysiology patients in an inpatient setting and in independent outpatient clinics.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient’s record.
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries.
- Prepare patient work‑ups.
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient‑care services are delivered.
- Work alongside physicians and other cardiology advanced practice providers in a collaborative team.
- Overnight call and hospital/clinic coverage occasionally includes general cardiology patients.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited PA program and national board certification
• OR Licensed as a nurse practitioner and approved to practice as a NP by the State of Georgia with national certification.
• 1‑2 years of electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of general cardiology experience preferred; familiarity with pacemakers and defibrillators is a plus.
