Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for an Electrophysiology Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the team at Piedmont Eastside Hospital in Snellville, Georgia. This is a full time position working variable shifts including days, holidays, night call coverage, and weekends.

Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services.

In this position you will:
- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of electrophysiology patients in an inpatient setting and in independent outpatient clinics
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient’s record
- Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries
- Prepare patient workups
- Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered
- Work alongside physicians and other cardiology advanced practice providers in a collaborative team
- Overnight call and hospital/clinic coverage occasionally includes general cardiology patients

Minimum Qualifications
Masters or bachelors degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a nurse practitioner and approved to practice as an NP by State of Georgia with National Certification.
Experience- 1-2 years of electrophysiology experience preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of general cardiology experience preferred; familiarity with pacemakers and defibrillators a plus.
