Job Title and Location
RN – Cath Lab/EP Tech, PT (Piedmont) – Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities- Assists the physician in the performance of invasive advanced cardiac procedures.
- Has thorough knowledge of all Cath/EP Lab equipment and maintenance of it.
- Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures and provides sedation.
- Serves as subject matter expert in challenging and difficult cases by providing guidance to fellow Cath lab/EP lab techs in the proper operation of equipment and procedures.
- Performs a combination of higher-level work such as Cath, EP, and/or vascular.
- Preferred:
Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES). - Minimum education:
RN, RCIS, or RCES. - Minimum experience:
4 years of Cath Lab Tech experience. - Minimum licensure/certification:
Current Georgia RN license, RCIS, or RCES. - Additional qualifications:
BCLS and ACLS, proficiency in scrubbing, sedating, circulating, monitoring, and multi-specialty procedures.
