Overview

Responsible for supporting the mission of the organization as a member of the multidisciplinary team in the provision of high-quality healthcare. Provides individualized patient- and family-centered, holistic care in a safe and caring environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a designated group of patients.

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Interact with patients using the nursing process and therapeutic use of self, in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Function as a member of the therapeutic team as designed by Piedmont Behavioral Health’s policies and procedures.

Piedmont Eastside, Full Time Days

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum Experience Required: None
• Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: None
• Additional Qualifications: B.S./B.A in behavioral health sciences preferred; preferred experience in behavioral health and/or addictive disease
• BLS - American Heart Association required
• Crisis Prevention within 60 days of hire
