Allied Travel Careers is working with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a qualified RRT in Snellville, GA 30078. Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 12‑week travel assignment.
Required Qualifications- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
- Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
- Treat patients using methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
- Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient receives the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
- Observe and record patient status and progress
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care
- Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Proficiency in PC skills
- Physical abilities – ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, bend
- Interpersonal skills – work with personnel and maintain a positive attitude
- Technical/motor skills – fine manipulation and assistance with procedures
- Mental requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail
