Allied Travel Careers  is working with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a qualified RRT in Snellville, GA 30078. Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a 12‑week travel assignment.

• One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

• ACLS or PALS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

• Collaborate with physicians to develop patient treatment plans
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples
• Treat patients using methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient receives the correct amount of oxygen at the correct rate
• Observe and record patient status and progress
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate patient care
• Educate patients and/or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of RRT practice

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Proficiency in PC skills
• Physical abilities – ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, bend
• Interpersonal skills – work with personnel and maintain a positive attitude
• Technical/motor skills – fine manipulation and assistance with procedures
• Mental requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with irregular schedules, maintain concentration to detail
• Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication
