Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy is seeking an Energetic, Creative, and Physically Active School-Age Director to lead our dynamic School-Age Program. This is a leadership opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about engaging children, building strong programs, and creating meaningful connections with families and the community.
Position OverviewThe School-Age Director will oversee the daily operations of our school-age program, lead staff, manage curriculum, and design engaging indoor and outdoor activities that support academic enrichment, physical activity, and social development. This role also plays a key part in increasing enrollment and strengthening our community presence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the School-Age Program in alignment with Kids ‘R’ Kids standards
- Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
- Oversee classroom management, curriculum execution, and staff performance
- Foster a fun, safe, structured, and energetic learning environment
- Develop and support enrollment growth initiatives and family engagement
- Represent Kids ‘R’ Kids at community events and outreach opportunities
- Ensure compliance with state licensing, safety regulations, and Kids ‘R’ Kids policies
- Maintain accurate documentation, schedules, and program records
- Part time work schedule, Monday-Friday, hours 2:30 - 6:45pm.
- College degree required (Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or related field preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience working with school-age children in a childcare, educational, or youth development setting.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Must be physically active and able to participate in indoor and outdoor activities
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Must successfully pass criminal background screening, fingerprinting, and all state-required clearances
- Must meet all state licensing requirements for a School-Age Director
- Have valid driver's license
