Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Smyrna, TN. We offer weekly pay, outstanding benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $25.00 per hour
• Hours per week: 40–45
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday
• Paid training

• 36 months or newer trucks
• 24/7 roadside maintenance
• Fuel up at 800 maintenance facilities nationwide

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide a Class A or Class B CDL with endorsements
• 9 months experience in a tractor trailer within the past 3 years, OR 2 years experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
