Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel ICU position requiring a TN or compact license and NIH Stroke certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Adult critical care patient population

• Floating may be required based on hospital needs

• Not open to local candidates; must live more than 50 miles from the facility

• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment

• First-time travelers may be considered

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license

• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC

• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

• No gaps in work history longer than 90 days in the past 12 months

• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

• Professional references required (number dependent on state of licensure)
