Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital float pool working in the Med/Surg observation unit

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Float pool assignment may include varied Med/Surg units as needed

• Provide a range of Med/Surg nursing care as part of the hospital float pool

• Must be able to work in multiple Med/Surg settings within the hospital as needed

• This position requires flexibility and adaptability to changing assignments

• Only candidates who live outside the 50 mile radius will be considered

Requirements

• Active RN license in TN or a compact state is required

• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg experience is required

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC is required

• References according to state: two professional references required for Florida and Missouri, one for other states

• US Social Security Number and date of birth are required for consideration

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months

• No local candidates accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
