Pay & Benefits
Pay begins at $52,881.38 for Maintenance Tech at the WWTP and is dependent upon applicable experience. In addition to the base salary, this full‑time position is eligible for an annual performance bonus as well as a longevity bonus.

Access and operate all process equipment and lift stations, above and below ground level. Perform all necessary operational and maintenance duties of the wastewater treatment plant. Operate computer using a windows environment, use spreadsheets, word processors, and utilize computerized SCADA system.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Operate and maintain all wastewater treatment plant equipment and lift stations.
- Monitor plant operations regularly for proper operation and treatment.
- Perform maintenance of equipment related to maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and lift stations to include calibration of feeders and instruments, and repair feeders, pumps, motors, hoists, backflow prev enters, valves, and other treatment equipment.
- Operate Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system, maintain, calibrate and repair electronics equipment.
- Enter and update files on computer for preparing reports, spreadsheets, historical information, maintenance records and letters as directed.
- Maintain sanitary cleanliness of work areas, the treatment plant and associated facilities.
- Maintain records in compliance to Federal, State and City regulations.
- Work safely observing all OSHA, Federal, State and City regulations. Report any accidents immediately to supervisor.
- Correctly wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have a Wastewater and Collection System License or the ability to obtain.
- Must have a valid Tennessee Driver's License.
- Must obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within 6 months of hire.
- Must have an active telephone number for 24 hour contact.
