A Typical Day:
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you’ll provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You’ll lead customer-centric teams to accelerate their seasonal tax business, structure and develop the teams across the offices, and drive growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

Note:

This role is not remote and requires in-person work. You will start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season, transitioning to full-time from January to April with evening and weekend hours as needed.

• Provide leadership over three tax offices and supervise the front-line management of associates to deliver an outstanding client experience.
• Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information, and manage associate work schedules and timekeeping across multiple offices.
• Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
• Assist the DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions.
• Conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center.
• Build an engaging, high-performing team environment across all offices through training and coaching, recognizing outstanding contributions.
• Travel between offices as required and prepare tax returns as needed after completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Demonstrated ability to execute growth plans and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office;
  Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
