The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next Engineering Intern. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Engineering Intern

Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare estimates for jobsites that includes complete material take-offs and self-perform and subcontracted activities

* Prepare proposals for customers that includes cost breakdowns, clarifications, scope of work and exclusions

* Create pre-construction budgets to turn-over to accounting and project management

* Support on-site personnel with change order management, creating change orders, adjusting budget and billing sheets

* Generate job progress tracking sheets, assist with inputting data for progress tracking and monitoring progress tracking

* Assist in procurement of materials based on customer supplied specifications

* Assist in engineering, modeling, and creating fabrication spools and installation isometrics

* Make work packages for on-site field supervision

* Visit field sites for hands on engineering

Engineering Intern Qualifications/

Skills:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications

* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

* Experience with AutoCAD and Invertor is a plus

Experience and Requirements:

* Candidate should be pursuing a degree in civil, mechanical, industrial, or construction management

* Candidate should have completed at least one year of the appropriate study

* Candidate will be expected to work 20-25 hours/week during fall and/or spring semesters

* Candidate will have the opportunity to work for 40 hours/week during summer
