This position is available for current students or recent graduates with the ability to work 30+ hours per week. This is a one-year, direct hire position.
What You Will Do
You will ensure that all requirements of Valeo Group are identified, established, and implemented.You will check that safety and security equipment are in compliance with requirements.You will carry out risk analysis and monitor regulatory survey.You will help establish the site “Health, Safety, Security and Environment” operation procedures and oversee their application.You will carry out inspections and internal audits, make recommendations and specify corresponding actions as well as the responsibility for implementing it.You will assist in implementing and monitoring action relating to the handling of any non-compliance revealed by the inspections, internal audits, and external audits, taking the necessary investments into account.You will be aware of developments in the legislation.You will update and complete Safety Data sheets, plus ergonomic and PPE assessments.You will review and update Safety and Environmental work instructions.What You Should Have
You should be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or occupational safety related field OR be a very recent graduate (2023 and beyond) with the ability to work 30 hours per week.You should have completed classes in equipment lockout/tagout, chemical safety, and OSHA/EPA.Seniority level
