Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Smyrna, TN, for a Concrete Form Setter and Finisher. The individual will be responsible for setting forms, placing and leveling concrete, finishing surfaces to desired textures, and performing other related concrete tasks. Responsibilities may include reading and interpreting blueprints, shaping and smoothing concrete, ensuring proper use of tools and equipment, and maintaining adherence to safety standards.

The role also involves collaboration with team members and project managers to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in setting concrete forms, placing, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces
  • Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
  • Experience with construction tools and techniques for concrete work, including shaping, smoothing, and curing methods
  • Strong understanding of safety standards and ability to ensure a safe work environment
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with a construction team
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
  • Prior experience in concrete construction or related field is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; construction-related certifications are a plus
