JOIN OUR TEAM AS A Registered Nurse Supervisor!
The Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and Performance Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to staff assigned to his/her shift.
- Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
- Implement the unit policies and procedures and act as a resource to the staff.
- Responsible for unit compliance with The JOINT COMMISSION, CMS, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards.
- Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies are consistently implemented on the unit.
- Coordinate, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.
- Monitor medical records for appropriate documentation of care and effectiveness.
- Assist in the development of a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient's needs.
- Complete a comprehensive nursing assessment and patient interview according to policy within eight hours of patient's admission to the unit.

Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management;
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
Licensure:
Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
Additional Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of The JOINT COMMISSION, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of CPI within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.

This is a full-time
