DescriptionAllison-Smith is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to support an experienced, successful, rapidly growing electrical contracting firm. The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Marketing Manager. This position will be in office and will require a minimum availability of 15 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be organized, a good multitasker, innovative and energetic.
This is a temporary part-time position that could turn into a permanent full-time position for the right fit.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities:
Support internal communications
- Planning of quarterly state of the organization meetings
- Assist with creation of internal marketing comms to include quarterly newsletter, new employee announcements, promotion announcements, baby announcements and internal employee spotlights.
- Assist with process of ordering promotional items, business cards and branded marketing materials.
- Assist with the management of video shoots, photo shoots and creation of branded marketing materials.
- Assist with the creation of new copy for the website, signage, and company literature.
- Other marketing administrative tasks as needed.
Education & Experience:
- BS degree (degrees in business, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations are preferred)
- Internship experience is preferred but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva is a plus
- Background Check
- Drug Test
