• Accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns.
• Ensure prescribed medicines are suitable and safe for patients.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
• Provide patient counseling on prescription and non-prescription medications, including dosage, side effects, storage, and drug interactions.
• Offer health services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (blood pressure monitors, glucose meters).
• Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff (technicians, clerks, interns).
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve them.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
  
  D.) degree required.
• Active license with the State Pharmacy Board.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, patient safety, and clinical best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
