Mental Health Technician (MHT) (Recovery Residence)
Job Overview The Mental Health Technician (MHT) functions as an active part of the treatment team,092 offering continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to patients ranging അടിസ്ഥാന in age from preschool through geriatrics, depending on the unit. MHTs work under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Base Pay Range- $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
- Sign‑on bonus for part‑time positions: $500.00
- Take and record vital signs properly.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment and observe and document any changes in a patient’s appearance, behavior, or ability to work toward treatment‑plan goals.
- Communicate changes in theeby patient’s condition to the charge nurse.
- Follow the therapeutic interventions outlined by the treatment team for each patient.
- Document the treatment plan, nursing interventions, and the patient’s response to the intervention.
- Employ appropriate crisis intervention techniques as needed.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
- Act as the patient’s advocate and ensure that the patient’s rights are upheld.

Your Experience Matters What We’re Looking For- Education:
High School Degree or equivalent preferred; or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or an appropriate therapeutic discipline. - Experience:
One year of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and understanding of mental illness, preferred.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.
- Successful completion of CPR / First Aid certification and CPI training within 90 days of employment prior to assisting with restraining procedures. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
