Availability:
Telehealth services, weekend hours, PRN status.
The Lead Therapist mentors Program Therapists, upholds standards of care, and supervises clinical services through performance audits. The role supports hospital philosophy, quality improvement, and education while providing clinical supervision to social work, inpatient, and outpatient staff.
Duties and Responsibilities- Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and support groups.
- Continue professional development in individual, family, and group therapy and maintain records in personnel files.
- Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling on scheduled timetables.
- Comply with required standards for medical/legal reporting (e.g., child abuse, dependent adult abuse, psychiatric commitment).
- Represent the facility at legal hearings, submit paperwork for legal holds, and liaise with the conservator’s office.
- Assess psychosocial, educational, developmental, and behavioral functioning of patient/family system through case‑finding mechanisms.
- Apply biopsychosocial and DSM‑IV knowledge to treatment planning for the patient populations served.
- Assign and direct personnel to implement nursing care plans and verify care through observation and chart review.

Your Experience Matters—What We’re Looking For EducationMaster’s Degree specializing in social work or a clinical‑related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ExperienceThree (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
LicensureCurrent LPC, LPCP, LSW, LCSW, or LMFT issued by the State of Georgia.
Additional Requirements- Completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 90 days of employment.
- Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission and CMS standards for patient care related to treatment planning, discharge planning, psycho‑socials, and patient care.

This is a Full‑Time, exempt role with an expected salary range of $47,000.00 to $55,000.00 annually
. Sign‑on bonuses: $1,500 for full‑time, $500 for part‑time. Consideration will be given to experience and skill level.
