Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying vehicle performance problems and service requests; verify warranty and service contract coverage; develop estimates and write repair orders; maintain customer records.;
Serve as the communication liaison between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood by both parties.;
Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments, including deductibles.;
Prepare repair orders (RO), obtain approval signatures, and enter RO into service database system.;
Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times, and service expenses.
