Business Development Manager (Latin America | Utilities + Oil & Gas)
Slingco—an award-winning global supplier of high-quality tools and accessories for the installation and handling of cable with 40+ years of heritage - is expanding fast. With customers in 70+ countries and teams in the UK, USA, and India, we’re looking for a hunter-minded Business Development Manager to aggressively grow our footprint across Latin America.
Location: Southwest U.S. (flexible)
Compensation: Competitive base salary, performance incentives, and full benefits (Health Insurance, 401k, PTO)
What you’ll do- Win new customers across Latin America (utilities, EPCs, contractors, distributors)
- Identify and capture transmission, distribution, and grid infrastructure projects
- Drive specification wins and approved vendor list placement
- Support and expand Slingco’s global upstream Oil & Gas program (offshore and subsea)
- Proven business development or sales experience in utilities and/or oil & gas
- Strong new customer acquisition track record (hunter mindset)
- Experience selling through distribution, EPC, and direct-to-project channels
- Comfortable operating across cultures and regions
- Fluent Spanish
- Background in engineered, industrial, or safety-critical products preferred
