Base pay range
: $24.00/hr – $26.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services to inmates in the corrections setting.
• Implement the exercise program outlined by the Physical Therapist, progressing exercises, using modalities, and applying manual techniques as needed.
• Relate treatment to documented goals.
• Assess patient response and adjust exercises and treatments accordingly.
• Identify changes in patient condition, notify the Physical Therapist of the need for reassessment, and track visits.
• Document treatments and patient response thoroughly.
• Maintain a professional relationship with other staff and promote a positive work atmosphere through professional communication.
• Maintain a tidy, clean work area.
• Obey all security rules for medical personnel in a corrections setting as outlined in DOC policies.

• Associate degree in physical therapy, evidenced by a diploma from an accredited PTA program.
• Current, unencumbered, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Delaware.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
