Our client, a leader in manufacturing and precision engineering, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Smithfield, UT
Pay Range: $18.04
Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 3pm-1am
What's the Job?- Operate various milling or turning CNC machines according to production schedules
- Inspect parts using basic measurement tools and follow in-process inspection instructions
- Complete the traveler documentation and ensure proper placement with the product
- May be responsible for operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with ISO policies and procedures
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 0-3 years of experience operating milling or turning machines
- Knowledge of basic inspection equipment such as mics, calipers, and gauges
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Attention to detail and good verbal communication skills
