SUMMARY
ALCOR Scientific is a leader in innovative products for the medical device industry. We are located in Smithfield, RI and are currently looking for a full-time medical sales representative for a combination of inside/outside sales to manage US sales territory (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Ohio, Idaho, Montana, Missouri). This individual is resourceful in terms of lead generation and addressing inquiries, uses effective time management skills, and has experience with applications such as SFDC, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
This is an ideal position and an opportunity to gain medical device sales experience in a well-supported team environment with the opportunity for rapid career advancement in healthcare sales.
- Generates leads and establishes relationships with potential customers
- Communicates with prospects via telephone and email
- Travels to Central/Western United States territory to visit accounts and perform product presentations.
- Overnight travel is necessary and could be up to 30%
- When not traveling, reports daily to the Alcor headquarters located in Smithfield, RI
- Manages a customer database using tools such as Salesforce and Microsoft Excel
- Attends conferences and trade shows to represent the Alcor Scientific product line
- Monitors and forecasts sales pipeline on a regular basis
- Works closely with third-party distributors to enhance territory sales effort
- Maintains existing accounts and ensures customer satisfaction
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- At least one year of sales or customer service experience
- Energetic, motivated individual who thrives in a goal-oriented environment
- Ability to learn basic technical aspects of diagnostic equipment and communicate intelligently with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to learn new platforms

- Job Type: Full-time. 8:30am – 5:00pm EST when in office.
- Base pay commensurate with experience, plus significant performance-based commission and bonus potential
