SUMMARY

ALCOR Scientific is a leader in innovative products for the medical device industry. We are in Smithfield, RI and are currently looking for a full-time on-site Business Development Sales Associate. The Business Development Sales Associate sells service contracts, renewals, provides sales support and triages requests from customers. A successful Sales Associate demonstrates outstanding written and verbal communication skills, is responsive and respectful when interacting with customers and colleagues.

This individual is resourceful in terms of lead generation and addressing inquiries, uses effective time management skills, and has experience with applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. This is an ideal position and an opportunity to gain medical device sales experience in a well-supported team environment with the opportunity for rapid career advancement in Healthcare sales.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sell and support service contract renewals, upgrades and new consumable products to existing customers
  • Answer inbound customer phone calls to the Sales Department
  • Serve as a liaison between the Customer and Sales, Customer Service and Technical Support to resolve issues
  • Navigate CRM to determine current customer pricing, tracking information and sales history
  • Support Business Development as requested by the Regional Sales Managers, including providing documentation, quotations, and sales support materials
  • Contract management support including creation of new contracts, renewals, and extensions
  • Follow up with Customers to ensure satisfaction

SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • Job Type: Full-time, on site, 40 hours/week, M-F, 8:30-5:00
  • Compensation - Annual salary commensurate with experience + commission and annual bonus potential
