About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Materials Specialist to join our Production team. As a critical member of the department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials to meet production schedules. This is a full‑time, hourly role where you'll collaborate with various teams to ensure materials management excellence while adhering to company standards and workflows.

What you'll do
  • Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on‑time delivery of materials.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transactions in the company's inventory management system.
  • Analyze production schedules and forecasts to anticipate material needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements during material handling.
  • Collaborate with the Production team to solve material‑related issues and optimize workflows.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in supply chain or materials management are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), with experience in ERP/MRP systems being an advantage.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
