• Provides instruction and support to a class of 4 students in collaboration with paraprofessionals and specialized support professionals.
• Develops, coordinates and implements curriculum that aligns with the Essential Elements for ELA & Math.
• Collects, analyzes and prepares data to inform instruction and share with colleagues and parents.
• Works collaboratively as part of the special education team.
• Demonstrates and models best practices with students with intellectual disabilities.
• Collaborates with outside agencies, school personnel and parents for the purpose of identification of students having a disability.

C. LaPerche is a kindergarten through grade five elementary school in Smithfield, Rhode Island. In addition to the general education program, LaPerche also includes an intensive special education and intensive resource elementary level programs for the district. LaPerche faculty and staff strive to create an environment where every member of the school community is fully accepted and included as he or she reaches full potential both academically and socially.
