The Field Service Technician position is responsible for the effective repair and service of equipment and attachments at high levels of quality. This individual must be able to work independently of direct supervision in the environment.

• Be a champion of safety.
• Ensure all work is completed safely.

• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and create deficiency repair lists.
• Think ahead and plan methods and sequence of performing assigned maintenance.
• Research and order all parts and materials required to perform assigned maintenance.
• Perform the repairs efficiently and effectively.
• Confirm that all repairs are completed as assigned.
• Ensure all unused parts and materials are returned per established methods.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and service truck.
• Power wash and clean equipment and attachments as needed.
• Maintain legible records of notes, time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases as needed.
• Follow record‑keeping methods; the 3 C’s (complaint, cause, and correction) are always used and documented with all repairs.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and methods established by the company.
• Maintain and care for all shop and truck tools, equipment, and vehicles in your possession.
• Provide the “Cutting Edge of Customer Service” to all.
• Communicate with co‑workers and customers professionally and honestly.
• Consistently advocate for Company Wrench and our equipment brand at all times.
• Complete training as assigned (virtually and in‑person). Overnight travel may be required.

• Maintain legible records of notes, time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases as needed.
• All record‑keeping methods are followed per established methods. The 3 C’s (complaint, cause, and correction) are always used and documented with all repairs.
• Comply with all policies, procedures, and methods established by the company.

• Training is to be completed as assigned.
• Training will be conducted virtually and in‑person. Overnight travel may be required.

Candidate needs two years of industry experience.

• Class A or B CDL or the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL.
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and mindset.
• Good communication skills.
• Safe work habits.
• Ability and experience to perform repairs for all major equipment systems.
• Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
• Provide all tooling smaller than one‑inch drive.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient understanding of hydraulic pressure and flow.
• Proficient in Ohm’s law.
• Proficient in the use of a digital multimeter.

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
