As a Certified Phlebotomy Technician, you will be responsible for high-quality blood collection and specimen handling for patients across all age groups, while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collect blood samples via venipuncture for patients of all ages
- Ensure proper identification of patients and specimens
- Facilitate collection and transportation of specimens
- Follow infection control standards at all times
- Maintain quality results by following department procedures
- Support a safe, secure, and compliant work environment
- Travel to other Comm Well Health sites as needed to support operations
Required:
- HS Diploma or GED
- BLS Certification (American Red Cross or AHA)
Preferred:
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a primary care, community health, or outpatient setting
- Experience with underserved or rural populations
- Spanish speaking preferred (not required)
