Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Trade Compliance Coordinator for our client based in Colnbrook. The Trade Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Trade Compliance and Customs activities for a key client. The role ensures all import/export activities are compliant with UK and EU regulations while maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities- Complete Kering Product Libraries and ensure accurate tariff classification for EU movements.
- Provide UK import guidance and ensure all Import, Export, Transit, ics, and ens declarations are compliant.
- Audit customs entries, manage archiving, and report any declaration discrepancies.
- Liaise with HMRC and support maintenance of customs procedures.
- Process CITES applications, importer notifications, permit checks, trackers, and related documentation (including DHL bookings and SharePoint uploads).
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of KPIs, compliance reports, billing, and invoicing trackers.
- Conduct spot checks and compliance audits, reporting findings to management.
- Create and maintain SOPs and written procedures.
- Support import/export of non-stock goods and internal compliance projects.
- Improve workflow efficiencies in collaboration with the line manager.
- Provide operational cover as required and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Monday to Friday
Hours08:30 to 17:30 (1 hour break)
Salary£28,500 per annum
Requirements- 3-5 years' experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, or a Customs-facing role
- Strong knowledge of UK & EU Customs regulations and documentation
- Strong understanding of international trade, commodity codes, incoterms, valuation, duties, and preference
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel - intermediate level)
- Fluent English (verbal and written) with strong communication skills at all levels
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, deadline-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible with working hours (occasional weekend work may be required).
