Job Title:

HGV Class 1 Driver – Heathrow

Location:

Heathrow, UK

Salary: £22 per hour (Minimum 10 hours per shift)

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off

Overview:
We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to join our team at Heathrow Airport. The role involves operating specialized vehicles within the airport, so candidates must have proven experience and the necessary certifications to safely and efficiently perform their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and in compliance with road traffic and airport regulations.

* Drive vehicles equipped with refrigerated units, roller beds, and pop-up 5th wheels.

* Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.

* Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, collections, and any required airport paperwork.

* Adhere to a 4 on / 4 off shift schedule with a minimum of 10 hours per shift.

Requirements:

* Must hold a CE (Class
1) licence for at least 2 years.

* Minimum of 1 year of CE driving experience.

* Experience operating refrigerated vehicles, roller beds, and pop-up 5th wheel equipment.

* Valid COD certificate.

* Minimum of 5 years of verifiable work references.

* Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and airport protocols.

* Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
