Multi Modal Clerk

Position: MULTI MODAL CLERK
Location: Colnbrook

Freightserve recruitment are looking for a Multi Modal Freight Clerk with a bias towards Import Airfreight. The company are a small well established Freight Forwarder based in the Colnbrook, Berkshire area.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Multi-Modal Freight Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in import and export operations, including handling customs documentation, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of freight procedures.

Key Responsibilities
 
* Process import documentation (entry experience isn't required)
 
* Completing export documentation, MAWB,HAWBS, commercial invoices and customs declarations.
 
* Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations
 
* Liaise with Airline, Shipping lines and Transport companies .
 
* Maintain accurate records of all export / import transactions and documentation.
 
* Assist in resolving any customs-related issues.
 
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Key Skills & Experience Required
 
* Previous experience in Airfreight (ideally both Imports or Export).
 
* Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
 
* Air, Sea and Road freight (Mainly Air Imports)
 
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
 
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
 
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
