Import Operations Clerk

The Import Operations Clerk will be responsible for managing the day-to-day coordination and administration of import shipments, primarily airfreight
, but with exposure to sea and road freight as well. The role requires excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills, ensuring that shipments are cleared and delivered efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards and compliance with customs regulations.

• Manage the full process of import shipments from arrival to final delivery.
• Handle airfreight import documentation
  , including AWBs, invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with airlines, shipping lines, overseas agents, hauliers, and customers to ensure smooth cargo whit movement.
• Arrange customs Carnmos
  , working closely with internal or external customes brokers.
• Prepare and submit import entries using CHIEF/CDS systems (if applicable).
• Track and monitor shipments, updating customers proactively on progress and resolving any issues or delays.
• Liaise with customers on shipment unlikely status, requirements, and any additional services needed.
