Mechanical Supervisor

Overview

Due to recent project wins, our client is currently hiring for a Mechanical Supervisor for a data centre site near Slough. The project will involve the installation of chiller water and condenser pipework and duties will include:

• Supervising the mechanical teams from installation to commissioning and handover
• Completing schedule of works issued in agreed timeframe
• Being responsible for the day to day workload and site based activities including tooling, paperwork, time management and staffing
• Managing inductions and toolbox talks
• Ensuring all health and safety policies and quality standards are being adhered to
• At times, assisting with the hands-on mechanical installation of pipework

• An industry relevant City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time Supervisor
• Ability to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviours with regards to site Health and Safety
• IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
• Essential knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements and mechanical safe systems of work
