Data Centre Electrician Required - 2 Week Contract, Slough
Urgently seeking a qualified electrician for a 2‑week assignment at a data centre facility in Slough, starting immediately. This short‑term role involves critical maintenance and repairs to ensure operational continuity in a high‑uptime environment.
Role OverviewPerform electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and testing on UPS systems, generators, switch gear, BMS, and power distribution units. Conduct isolations, PPMs, and incident response while adhering to strict safety protocols and BS 7671 standards.
Requirements- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent, plus 18th Edition wiring regulations.
- Proven data centre or critical infrastructure experience, including live environment work.
- Busbar experience essential.
- CSCS/ECS card, full UK driving licence, and ability to work shifts if required.
Competitive day rates which will vary on experience and can be paid weekly. 2 weeks on‑line, Monday‑Friday, 40‑50 hours a week.
