Join our team as an Area Relief Officer at Wilson James. We seek a reliable and proactive security officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.

• Type: Permanent, Full‑time – 42 hours per week, varied shift pattern (days, nights, and weekends)
• Location: Slough, Berkshire, UK (Equinix – 8 Buckingham Avenue)
• Pay: £13.85 per hour

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence; meet and greet customers and colleagues.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
• Control access points, check identification, and ensure only authorised personnel enter the premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
• Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.

• Current SIA Licence.
• Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
• Strong observational skills and ability to identify and respond to security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high‑pressure situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
